The three night Fly Dive Cod Hole Expedition departs Cairns every Monday and offers prime Ribbon Reef dive sites which suit every type of diver. The four night Fly Dive Coral Sea Expedition is geared towards the more adventurous diver and offers great diving in the remote Coral Sea. Both departures include a spectacular low level reef flight. A seven night expedition provides a combination of both expeditions and offers you the best Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea diving with no repeat sites except the world famous Cod Hole.

Coral Sea Safari

Experience the best of Far North Queensland. Buddy up with dive size fish at the world famous Cod Hole, witness Osprey Reef’s shark population including hammerheads and grey whalers and cruise the Ribbon Reefs. Walk in Captain Cook’s footsteps to ‘Cook’s Look’ on Lizard Island. Access to prime dive sites guaranteed! From Cairns focus on the superior northern Ribbon Reefs, including the Cod Hole, and pristine Coral Sea locations including Osprey Reef and Bougainville Reef. Here, the marine life is at its best and you will see spectacular concentrations of pristine corals, colourful tropical fish, schooling pelagics and shark action.

Fly Dive Coral Sea

Dive the pristine Ribbon Reef’s North of Cooktown and remote Coral Sea. Enjoy Osprey Reef’s 40 metres visibility, plummeting walls to 1000 metres and resident shark population. Dive with diver size fish at the Cod Hole and schooling tuna and barracuda at North Horn.

This expedition maximizes your comfort and enjoyment by: cruising within sheltered waters, halving your sea travel and the very best concentrations of pristine coral and colourful tropical fish. All your dives are at the superior northern reefs between Cooktown and the Cod Hole. This 55 mile (90 kilometre) turquoise chain of ribbon reefs is the most prized dive region in the northern section of the Great Barrier Reef.
