Mareeba Wetland Tours

Come with them to the Mareeba Wetlands, an oasis in the outback savannah country of north Australia. With 150 hectares of lagoons in a 2000 hectare conservation reserve, this spectacular area is a sanctuary for the native fauna and flora of the tropical outback.

Mareeba Wetland Tours departs Cairns daily for the Wetlands, which is just over one hour’s drive (75 kilometres) to the west. Journey from Cairns to Kuranda on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway or on their air conditioned coach. From Kuranda, proceed by coach directly to Mareeba Wetlands for lunch on the deck, overlooking Clancy’s Lagoon.
