Cape York Motorcycle Adventures

Cape York Motorcycle Adventures is a privately owned company operating in the relatively new market of motorcycle adventures in Cape York, Far North Queensland. From their base at Clifton Beach (20 minutes north of Cairns airport) they provide a range of guided motorbike safaris to the remote areas of Cape York Peninsula.

They offer a range of tours to suit all budgets one, two, three, five, six and eight days or by private charter arrangements.

They currently own and operate 21 motorbikes, a 14 seat mini van and a heavily modified Toyota Land cruiser 4WD support vehicle that accompanies each five, six and eight day excursions combined with modern telecommunications via satellite telephone and UHF/VHF radio.

Cape York Motorcycle Adventures was the second motorcycle tour company to begin operation in Australia and since pioneering the motorcycle adventure tour industry in Northern Queensland in 1990; they have grown substantially every year.

Roy Kunda runs a tight operation with a staff of six including a full-time mechanic who maintains the vehicle fleet.


Touring Options

One Day Sensation

A sensational experience is the freedom of riding a dirt bike through these World Heritage listed areas on some of the most spectacular trails you will ever encounter. Under the expert guidance of your tour leader these magnificent regions of the world will surprise and delight the novice and expert rider alike.
Some highlights include: Black Mountain Road, Kuranda, Mount Molloy and Mossman.

Three Day Escape

The best fun ride you will experience taking in exhilarating mountain trails, heavily forested tracks, spectacular views, cool mountain streams, secluded and remote waterfalls. Taking in the locals favourite track known as the CREB track, Kuranda and Port Douglas, Daintree and Cape Tribulation national Parks. Also the chance to head north to Cooktown and experience the marvellous white sand of the Cape Flattery area. Accommodation in Cooktown as well as PK’s Jungle Village at Cape Tribulation.

Two Day Rainforest and Outback Safaris

The best fun ride you will ever experience taking in exhilarating mountain trails, heavily forested tracks, spectacular views and many more.
Overnight accommodation at PK’s Jungle Village Cape Tribulation where the reef meets the rainforest. Taking in the locals favourite track known as the CREB Track, Kuranda and Port Douglas, Daintree and Cape Tribulation National Parks.
