Koala Golf Cairns

Koala Golf provides luxury escorted golf tours to all the courses within Cairns and Port Douglas region. The driver/ guides provide expert local knowledge on all courses and conditions and also give a commentary on local sights and attractions whilst on route to the golf courses. They have an excellent range of rental equipment available, for the beginner through to advanced golfers, they cater for everyone. Koala Golf are extremely proud of their range of Callaway clubs which are ideal for the most discerning golfers.

Touring Options

Mareeba Golf Club

Mareeba Golf Club is a little over one hour drive from Cairns and averages 300 sunny days per year, so rain is rarely a problem. With wide, lush and gently undulating fairways, this relatively flat course is abundant with native trees and wildlife, especially the grey kangaroos which need to be cleared from the fairways to begin play! This is a typical Australian course with a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere suitable to all players. Included in this tour is a Golfer’s lunch pack.

Half Moon Bay

The Half Moon Bay Golf Club is located along the ocean and is framed by mountain, marina, beach and island views. An interesting mix of holes this course is a challenge for the competitor golfer whilst not being intimidating for the beginner. 20 minutes drive from Cairns.

Sea Temple Golf and Country Club

Situated in Port Douglas, Sea Temple provides 18 holes of challenging golf. Peter Thomson, Wolveridge and Perret have designed a true links style course in the tropics. Offering the breathtaking combination of tropical palms meeting the towering rainforest, it has a North Queensland style club house with a full licensed bar and restaurant. One hour drive from Cairns along on of the most scenic coastlines in Australia.

Paradise Palms

Paradise Palms Golf Course was designed by Australian Graham March and is a resort style course. It features six lakes and 94 bunkers, and really is a golfer’s paradise. Surrounded by lush gardens, trees, lakes and mountains, it is one of the best maintained courses in Australia. A challenging design even for the professionals, beginners are also welcome. A five star club house with bar and restaurant it is a 25 minute drive from Cairns.
