The diverse scenery along the Onkaparinga Valley to the Murray River is just the beginning of a memorable day out. Plenty of time is available for shopping in Hahndorf’s old heritage buildings presenting quality craft shops, galleries, souvenir and clothing shops. You may choose to purchase lunch at The Hahndorf Inn offering German meal deals with German beers on tap or try one of the delightful bakeries for a treat.

Each winery offers wine tasting, sales, a unique story to tell, lovely gardens and vineyards to enjoy.

Grant Burge Winery is one of those beautiful wineries that has everything right, great visual setting and superb wines. Visit Chateau Dorrien for more wine, mead and port tasting before happily returning to Adelaide.
