Mr Lockhart’s Cottage, Castlemaine

Built in 1861, this centrally located, stylish Colonial-Georgian cottage is fully self-contained. Central passage with high ceilings and polished floorboards. The cottage features 2 bedrooms, (queen size and single) fully equipped kitchen to self cater, with dining table and gas cooking and heating. Comfortable sitting room with open fire and double sofa bed. Bathroom with clawfoot bath and shower. Facilities include microwave, small fridge, air cooler, CD/DVD and video player. Electric blankets, linen and towels supplied. Private rear courtyard garden (off street parking if required). Complementary continental breakfast for first night. Short walk to cafes and galleries. Only 80 minutes from Melbourne and Ballarat in the heart of the Goldfields area.
