Maranup Ford is a working farm stay owned and loved by the same family since 1898 and situated in the centre of our South West, we invite you to take time out of your busy life and relax in our tranquil rural setting snuggled between forested hill, farmland and along the Blackwood River.

Enjoy our Bed and Breakfast or Homestay in the main homestead built in 1917, where you have the choice of two bedrooms both with ensuites. All meals are available and guests enjoy their evening meal (made from local produce)in the dining room.

We also offer you the self contained cottage which sleeps ten people in five separate rooms. Ideal for family groups, here you can sit on your verandah and watch the sunset, have a barbeque or enjoy a game of pool.

For the energetic person there is the opportunity during the winter for misty morning walks along the river. We are close to the Bibbulmun Track and there are trails on and around the farm and through the “Land for Wildlife” part of the property for you to explore. There are facilities available for you to bring your own horse for a holiday. The terrain lends itself to mountain bike riding. Our garden abounds with native birds and is part of the “Festival of Country Gardens”, ideal for you to wander through or you may like to just sit with a book and glass of wine and watch the river flow by.

The heritage town of Bridgetown, Balingup, Nannup and Greenbushes (where you can visit the Discovery Centre and Mine Lookout) are all easily accessible within a few minutes drive. If you are wanting to be more venturesome you can drive to Walpole and the Tree Top Walk or Pemberton for Trout Fishing and tall Karri trees. We are an easy drive from Bunbury, Busselton, Margaret River and Augusta, however you probably won’t want to leave the Blackwood River Valley.
