A whole house – for your exclusive use adjoins the Montaza garden; all in a quiet street within easy walking distance to town. Fully self contained with quality furnishings throughout and linen provided.
Built nearly sixty years ago, Brockman House has the high ceilings and timber floors typical of the era. Furnished in an eclectic style; many examples of local artists’ work adorn the walls. The main bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a second smaller bedroom with one single bed with another room off that that has twin single beds.
The house has a reverse-cycle air conditioner, wood heater, electric blankets and LCD television set and DVD player. A barbecue is set up for your use.
The makings of the first morning’s breakfast is provided for you, with fresh fruit in season from the orchard and eggs from the hens if they are laying. Naturally, tea, coffee, bread, milk and other basics are on hand to get you started on your holiday.
The gardens at Montaza have an old orchard, many heritage roses and established deciduous trees, such as maples, crab apples and pistachios. You are welcome to browse through the gardens, have an al fresco breakfast or enjoy an evening drink in the orchard.
Based on two people, $145.00 per night with each extra person $25.00 per night, including children. Brockman House is suitable for five people with another person possible if given notice.
Minimum stay is two nights. For long weekends, festivals and peak times the minimum is three nights. Stays of three or more nights attract a discount of 15%.
