Bluefire Cruises and Restaurant

Bluefire Cruises was established in 1952 and is the longest serving cruise company currently operating on the Gold Coast.

The original vessel was named ‘Vagabond’ and cruised from Surfers Paradise to South Stradbroke Island to offer full day sightseeing cruises. After numerous owners and vessels including ‘Nerang Princess’ and ‘Coca Cola Cat’ the current fleet includes the ‘Princess’ and ‘Spirit of Paradise’.

The many varied and interesting cruises now include, full day Stradbroke Island family cruises and evening dinner cruises. The company has been an integral part of promoting the Gold Coast and its beautiful waterways since its inception and is still actively involved in the marketing of South East Queensland and its many varied attractions.

All luxury cruising vessels are air conditioned and have on board facilities including cocktail bars, viewing decks, galley, restrooms, stage lighting, video and audio equipment and karaoke.

Princess is the largest most luxurious vessel on the Gold Coast and can cater for up to 200 passengers banquet style and 300 cocktail style. There is no vessel that can match the size and elegance of the Princess.

Spirit is a beautifully appointed craft that is ideal for a charter situation as a maximum of 95 passengers can be seated on the same level. A very spacious upper viewing deck means guests enjoy the beauty of the Gold Coast’s waterways in style.
