In 1994 Lamington and Springbrook National Parks were listed as part of the Central Eastern Rainforest Reserves Australia World Heritage Area. This area includes the largest subtropical rainforest remnant in the world and extensive cool, temperate rainforests of Antarctic beech.

Visitors can spend the morning taking a short and easy stroll through the cool serene rainforests enjoying the spectacular views, ancient Antarctic beech forests and looking at over 100 species of birdlife.

World Heritage Hiking Tour

Enjoy trekking through the various landscapes and superb views at Springbrook National Park which is World Heritage Listed.

The tour is accredited as the Advanced Ecotour by Ecotourism Australia. The experience eco-guide (accredited by Ecotourism Australia) will guide you through the ancient vast nature with the highest quality commentary.

This four kilometre trekking course is ideal for everyone and will suit all levels of fitness. You will be walking behind the falls, between the bluff rocks and vast scenery. You can experience a different eras ancient forests such as eucalypt forest, sub-tropical rainforest, warm temperate rainforest and cool-temperate rainforest.

World Heritage Nature Sightseeing

The tour takes you to World Heritage listed Springbrook National Park and Lamington National Park which are located at the largest caldera in the Southern Hemisphere. This tour is accredited as the Advanced Ecotour by Ecotourism Australia. The experienced and accredited eco-guide will guide you with the highest quality commentary.

In the morning sightsee the 106 metre high Purlingbrook Falls, Antarctic beech trees, view spectacular scenery at the Best of All Lookout and visit the Canyon Lookout in Springbrook National Park. In the afternoon visit the Tree Tops Walk in Lamington national Park and hand feed colourful wildlife birds.
