The Bay of Palms has a very relaxing and friendly atmosphere with the extra advantage of being situated beside a beautiful lake where guests can enjoy fishing, crabbing, and canoeing or take a peaceful walk along the track beside the lake. Friendly old-fashioned service will ensure your stay is memorable. The Resort is centrally located on the Gold Coast (between Palm Beach and Currumbin) adjacent to a major shopping centre.

Two restaurants as well as KFC, MacDonald’s, Pizza Hut and many other places to eat are a one to two minute walk. There is a bar on-site serving a wide range of drinks. There are two clubs within easy walking distance serving meals and drinks at very reasonable prices and there is a courtesy bus if you do not wish to walk. The swimming pool and spa are set in a tropical landscape with many beautiful palm trees surrounding the resort.

There are picnic tables by the lake for guests who wish to make use of the free barbecue facilities. The Resort is a five minute drive to the Wildlife Sanctuary and 30 minutes to the theme parks and a short 20 minutes to the nightlife of Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. A short ten minute drive to the south is the entertainment of the Tweed and Coolangatta Clubs.

The units are furnished with a Queen bed and either two single trundle beds or a sofa bed and are tastefully decorated. Linen is provided and units are serviced weekly. Towels can be exchanged for a small charge or guests can take advantage of the two laundries with washing machines, dryers, iron and ironing board.

Studio units are like modern hotel rooms. The Queen bed and trundle beds, are all in the one room with a bar fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.

The One Bedroom Kitchen unit has a separate bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and the trundle beds are in lounge room.
