Hel-a-va Jet Boats was created from a concept of a wave runner and the surf life saving jet boats moulded into the first fully enclosed offshore jet boat ride in the world that you can experience today.

The boat is designed and built right here in Adelaide, using South Australian businesses and parts where possible. The boat is nine metres long, three metres wide and the hull is made of six-millimetre plate aluminium.

We are the only jet boat that has 12 full racing seats and harnesses and is fully enclosed. We give people an exhilarating thrill ride 200 to 400 metres off the beautiful Glenelg foreshore.

Don’t be fooled by the speed of the boat, we can get this seven tonne boat up the plane in a matter of seconds. Then when we reach 42 knots we thrust you into a 270 degree spin. A series of breath-taking manoeuvres and up to three to five metre waves will get you airborne and we can also stop this heavy beast at top speed in 10 metres, forcing the bow of the boat to be submerged into the water with a wave crashing over the whole boat.

In the design of the boat we took the upmost safety of our customers into consideration with the incorporation of five cubic metres of marine floatation foam throughout the boat, the full racing seats and harnesses and being fully enclosed to keep our passengers safe and dry.

Port River Cruise – HJB03

Take four to five hours out of your morning to experience a jet boat cruise along the beautiful Adelaide coastline to Outer Harbor and the Port River. On the way to visiting Garden Island we will by-pass the Submarine Corporation and look at shipwrecks that have not survived the waters. We are sure that some friendly dolphins will arrive just for you. Stop to have a delicious morning tea with coffee, tea and scones.
