Based at Jandakot Airport, FCI offers the ever-popular Nanchangs, Chinese Air Force aircraft that carve through the skies over Perth locked in a stomach-churning aerial dog-fight for the ultimate “Top Gun” experience. We operate four such aircraft for you and your friends or colleagues to come and experience the true nature of aerial combat.

Each “combat flight” profile is tailored to your specific requirements during the pre-flight brief with your military trained pilot. Suited up and heading for the flight-line, “strap on your aircraft” – the fun is about to begin.

Loops, rolls, wing-overs and other adrenalin pumping manoeuvres are all part of the experience to get the edge on the other aircraft and position yourself for the kill. Alternatively, a scenic run along Perth’s beaches or gently rolling through the skies over Safety Bay – maybe a bit of both – you will enter another world where your senses are on overload and the aircraft becomes an extension of your body.

Touring Options

Adventure Flight Option – T-6 Texan

The ‘adventure flight’ profile is customised between you and your pilot during the pre-flight briefing. You can choose to include many options such as scenic flight down the Perth beaches and high manoeuvre aerobatics.

T-6 Texan – WWII Trainer of robust construction with a 9 cylinder Radial-engine and sliding canopies. Said to be the "pilot maker" for as many as 80% of the Allied pilots during the war before they went on to become ‘operational’.

Combat Formation Flights – Two Aircraft Combat Package

If ‘Top Gun’ looked like fun then the ‘combat formation’ flights will thrill you. The ‘combat formation’ flight is performed using two CJ-6A Nanchangs.

Once in your flight-suit you and your fellow passenger(s) are briefed on the mission. Then it’s out to the flight-line to "strap on your aircraft". You will experience the art of close formation as practised by the air forces of the world and then it is time to split the formation and "the fight is on".

Diving and turning to gain position behind the opposing aircraft your pilot will explain the tactics being used by each crew. This is not a simulator or computer game – this is the real thing. We fly the ‘combat formation’ using military rules and procedures with your safety and comfort paramount.

This is the best fun that we had in the air force and now we can share it with you – if you dare!
