Mole End Cottage, Fremantle

This recently restored 104 year old cottage is situated in a quiet street, only five minutes walk from South Beach and a ten minute free CAT bus ride to the centre of the City of Fremantle.

The interior is spacious and open plan. The pine flooring, with authentic oriental rugs gives a bright, cheerful atmosphere, as well as being easy to keep clean. The house has a deep verandah, which shades it on hot afternoons.

The sitting room has reverse cycle air-conditioning, a small gas fire and two leather lounges that offer comfortable seating. There is a television, video, phone (free for local calls only, but phone cards can be purchased in most shopping centres) and a modern kitchen, with all new appliances.

Two bedrooms, which are situated at the front of the house have queen size beds. In addition there is a study/bedroom with a double size sofa bed, which can be closed off from the main sitting room. The room has a desk and a second phone plug, should you wish to connect your computer to the internet.

The bathroom has a shower/bath and double basins, with a seperate inside toilet. On the northern outside wall of the house there is an external hot and cold shower for use after a swim at the beach. Like all old Fremantle houses there is also an outdoor toilet in the corner of the block, in addition to the internal one.

The house is fully furnished to suit business visitors and holiday makers alike. It is serviced weekly during your stay, with linen and towels being laundered.

To the rear of the cottage is a spacious covered area, complete with a gas barbeque and outdoor furniture. The laundry is equipped with a washing machine and a dryer.

Bicycles and fishing rods are available to borrow and the nearby beach offers enthusiastic fishermen the chance to catch a variety of fish. It is also a great sailboarding area.

There is an extensive range of reasonably priced restaurants just around the corner.

Should you have any special needs e.g. cots or high chairs, we will arrange to hire them for you. The charge to be paid for on arrival.
