The AHG Driving Centre offers a number of ultimate driving experiences that everyone can participate in. Ideally located twelve kilometres from the CBD at the Perth International Airport it is only a short drive from any suburban location

V8 Race Cars:

Few people experience the thrill of driving a fully race prepared V8 Holden Commodore. Now here is your chance to experience this first hand. You can drive the latest race prepared six speed V8 Holden Commodores. Each session starts with a safety briefing and instruction on how to drive these awesome vehicles. Once fitted out with your race suit and helmet you are harnessed into the car. Under the expert guidance of experienced race car drivers, you hit the track for your hotlaps. It will take some time for you to regain your composure and come down from your high after completing your last lap and exited the track. So expect the time of your life!

Performance Driving:

Take a Drive on the wild side! Experience the challenge of driving a sporty MR2 Spyder through a series of heart pumping, adrenalin rushed circuits. You participate in a series of motor challenges designed to test your skills in acceleration, braking and handling ability while negotiating a set course. The courses are set out on a bitumen surface covering 8 000 square metres.

Four Wheel Drive Adventure:

Four wheel driving is the heart of Australian culture in the outback. Now you can get off the beaten track in one of our four wheel drives without having to drive thousands of miles! You will learn how to drive a four wheel drive (4WD) and negotiate all the different types of obstacles and terrain you might encounter when four wheel driving in the country on our unique four wheel drive circuit.

Performance Driving

Take a Drive on the wild side! Experience the challenge of driving a sporty MR2 Spyder through a series of heart pumping, adrenalin rushed circuits. The half day performance driving event consists of teams challenging each other over a series of circuits designed to test their skills in acceleration, braking and handling ability.

There are four different courses, with two runs over each course completed on the day. These courses are set out on a bitumen surface covering 8 000 square metres.

All motor challenges require teamwork and are conducted as a team event where each person’s time is recorded. The winning team has the best times and with the smoothest and most consistent driving on the day. The vehicles you will be driving are the latest model MR2 Spyder sports cars. The MR2s are mid engine, rear wheel drive cars with a 1.8 litre twin cam VVTi engine. They have a sequential gearbox and weigh only 975 kilograms making them exciting to drive.

The Performance Driving Days are ideal for individuals or corporate events for an action packed day that is unforgettable.

V8 Super Drives

Few people experience the thrill of driving a fully race prepared V8 Holden Commodore. Now here is your chance to experience this first hand. Participants can drive the latest race prepared six speed V8 Holden Commodores. All of the race cars have safety roll cages, four point racing harnesses and race seats. They are all fitted with performance brakes / suspension, engine enhancements and full V8 Supercar body kits.

Each session starts with a briefing highlighting the technical specifications of the cars, the circuit layout and all safety aspects. Drivers are provided with instruction on how to drive these awesome vehicles. Once fitted out with your race suit and helmet you are harnessed into the car, ready for your laps.

Under the expert guidance of experienced race car drivers, you hit the track for your warm up lap on the 1.6km road circuit. Once satisfied with the dynamics and handling of the vehicle, your hot laps commence. Put your skills to the test in the 5.7L V8. As you become more confident with driving the vehicle, the minimum of two laps seems to be only a teaser. You’ll be begging for more!

It will take some time for you to regain your composure and come down from your high after completing your last lap and exited the track. So expect the time of your life!

Four Wheel Driving Adventure

Four wheel driving is the heart of Australian culture in the outback. Now participants can get off the beaten track in one of our four wheel drives without having to drive thousands of miles! Our unique Four Wheel Drive circuit has been specially designed to include a wide variety of terrain and obstacles such as declines, inclines, soft sand, side slopes and hills.

Participants will learn how to drive a four wheel drive (4WD) and negotiate all the different types of obstacles and terrain they might encounter when four wheel driving in the country.

The Recreational Four Wheel Drive course is a full day course using your own vehicle or our new Toyota Landcruisers or Toyota Hilux.
