Settlers Cottage, Sevenhill

Settlers Cottage nestles amongst the vines and a cherry orchard along a quiet country lane in the picturesque village of Sevenhill in South Australia’s Clare Valley. The cottage is a humble stone home built circa 1850 not far from the first vineyards established by Jesuit Priests in 1852. The cottage is available for you to spend a few days enjoying the many and varied delights of the Clare Valley. The joys of the cottage are a warm welcome, not personal, but lights on and a slow combustion wood fire only awaiting a match. Accommodation comprises two bedrooms with queen size brass beds, a comfortable lounge with entertainment unit, dining room complete with candles and linen serviettes, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Provisions provided for a hearty country breakfast will keep you going whilst out enjoying the scenic sights of this beautiful valley with its many magnificent wineries. Or just relax and wind down in this tranquil setting with a good book and a complimentary bottle of local wine. There is also a barbecue and outdoor furniture setting (summer).
