Margaret River Farmstay Chalets, Margaret River

Margaret River Farmstay is an eco nature based experience for the whole family and is only four minutes from Margaret River town site. It is the ideal location for many attractions including wineries, cheese, fudge and chocolate producers and award winning restaurants. It is also only twelve minutes from the beach and golf course. As one client remarked, “It is so quiet you can hear tomorrow coming”.

There are four chalets to choose from with different groups in mind. There are two bedroom chalets and three bedroom chalets. One of the chalets has a spa and is ideal for couples wanting a romantic break from the hustle and bustle of city life. Each chalet has all the extras you would expect in an executive chalet, television, video, radio, cassette, compact disk player, gas barbecue, gas oven and hot plates, microwave oven, reverse cycle air-conditioning, and more. The views from each bedroom overlook a mixture of native trees and paddocks.

We are a genuine farmstay with many animals:
Two Scottish Highland Cows
Two Alpacas
Eight ewes and one Poll Dorset pure breed ram lamb
Muscovy, Indian Runner and Peking ducks
Goose and gander with six goslings
A piglet called ‘Bacon’
Five different types of chickens – a total of 30
Peacock and peahen
Aberdeen Angus cows with calves
Jessie the Border Collie, the star attraction (rounding everything up including the kids)

Many people think that the countryside is blissfully quiet after the hectic pace of the city, but if you listen carefully you will hear birds singing at dawn and dusk, cows lowing in the night and when you look into the night sky, you won’t believe the number of stars.

A place of peace and tranquillity for the adults with all the fun and adventure you would expect for the kids.
