Fishermans Cottage, Swansea
Fishermans cottage is a small basic two bedroom cottage with a jetty and boat ramp. It is situated in the main street of Swansea with water frontage onto Black Neds Bay which is on the ocean side of the Swansea Channel. You can moor a boat out the front -a boat ramp access is minutes away. Air conditioning in the lounge and main bedroom. You have use of the aluminium tinny and three kayaks. Laundry access, BBQ and chiminea. Small bathroom with shower over bath and outside toilet. In Swansea we are minutes from all shopping and clubs so you don’t need to bring anything you are a walk away from all facilities. The property has off street parking. You can swim out the front of the cottage. We are on a cycle path and you are minutes from Blacksmiths and Caves Beaches. Boat shed beside the cottage has foldaway chairs,banana lounges, fishing and snorkelling gear. Black Neds Bay is a tidal bay with lots of bird life and good fishing on the right tide and prawns and crabbing in season. The block has owners cottage on the main street and the Fishermans cottage is behind it on the waterfront and very private. The cottage is an old style cottage so don’t expect ensuite living but for a lovely relaxing stay in a beautiful area in summer and especially winter it is just the spot. You can sunbake, swim, fish and never have to get into your car during your stay. You can light the chiminea at night and watch the tide come in.
