“Wine Rover” connects with the daily Sydney to Hunter Valley Wine Country express coach service “Wine Country Express”, leaving Sydney’s Central Station, Bay 14 Eddy Avenue at 8.30am. Pick ups also by arrangement from Harrington Street, The Rocks (at the rear of The Four Seasons Hotel) Chatswood and Hornsby Railway stations. Arriving in Wine Country around 11am, passengers can join “Wine Rover” or choose to be dropped at all major Wine Country accommodation to join “Wine Rover” later. “Wine Country Express” leaves Hunter Valley Gardens, at 4.30pm daily to return to Sydney Central Station around 7.15pm.

“Wine Rover” operates daily around Hunter Valley Wine Country with pick ups throughout the day from major accommodation. Moving passengers effortlessly from one cluster of wineries to another with choices of attractions, cellar doors and wineries at most stops. Enjoy wine tasting, a coffee break, shopping or even a walk around the award winning “Hunter Valley Gardens”. An abundant choice of lunch venues from gourmet snack to fine dining with optional winery tours and a taste of the Hunter’s own Blue Tongue Beer.

Entry to the famous Hunter Valley Gardens is only $12 extra for travellers on the Wine Country Xpress. (Not to be used with any other offer. Gardens ticket cannot be sold separately). The Wine Country Xpress also stops at the famous Cypress Lakes Resort for top class accommodation or a round of golf.

Wine Country Day Tours

Experience the Hunter Valley Wine Country; world famous wineries, renowned hospitality and gourmet dining all set against the rolling hills of vines, the backdrop of the Brokenback Range and invigorating countryside.

Wine Rover

This service runs daily between 9am and 4pm using Hunter Valley Gardens Village as the lunch hub with afternoon choices including Hermitage Road and Lovedale areas.

A wide variety of lunch choices including Harrigans, Hunter Valley Gardens Village (Oscars, Country Farm Delights, Terrace Deli, Cellar Restaurant, The Garden Terrace), Caf̩ Enzo, Blue Tongue Bar, Mill Restaurant Рask the driver for help! Try coffee, scones, cream and jam at Reg Drayton Wines over looking the picturesque Brokenback Range.

Pick ups can be arranged before 9am from accommodation around Cessnock, Pokolbin & the Hermitage Road area.
