Take the beautiful scenic coast road north to Stanwell Park. There you will be treated to one of the best views of the Illawarra coastline, and see hang-gliders jumping off to float above the sparkling sea.
Next the Hindu Temple at Helensburgh to see a typical Indian temple. If you would prefer, we can visit Symbio Animal Park, home to 110 varieties of different animals. You can take a photo or you can take a stroll around the 16 acres of the park.
After lunch break we will visit spectacular Mt Keira or Mt Kembla and you can see the whole of the city in one glance.
For lunch choose between Westfield, or Berkeley for a vegetarian meal at the amazing Nan Tien Buddhist Temple. This beautiful piece of Asian architecture stands out on the hillside facing the Illawarra escarpment, and is the centre of Buddhist culture on the south coast.

Nature At It’s Finest

South past the spectacular Nan Tiem Temple to the Minnamurra Rainforest to view a rare remnant of the rainforest that once extended all over the Illawarra. Walk on the boardwalk to view ancient green monuments that are older than white settlement in Australia.
After a peaceful walk through the forest, we will take you through the delightful Jamberoo Valley to Kiama, where we will visit the world famous Kiama Blowhole.
Kiama is full of Cafes and restaurants, souvenir shops and galleries, so choosing where to have lunch and what to see will be the hardest thing you have to do all day. You could also have fresh fish and chips right on the historic harbor waterfront.
Then we will take you for a leisurely drive along the coast, visiting the famous surf beach “The Farm” at Killalea State Recreation Park, Shellharbour Village and other great sights along the coast to Wollongong.
