Flames of the Forest
Guests are picked up in Cairns Palm Cove and Port Douglas by air conditioned coaches arriving at the site by 7.30 p.m. Guests are handed a lighted candle which helps light their way along a flame lit trail to clear space underneath the canopy of the rainforest. Guests are greeted by waiters serving champagne and hors d’oeuvres while placing their candle in a candelabra to provide a soft flickering light.
Then the master of ceremonies guides the guests to the dining area a short stroll away. Guests sit down to dine on an innovative feast of exotic tastes amid the surrounding rainforest, the limbs of trees reaching across their heads as a mountain river rushes by!
