Between tastes we will explore the working end of a vineyard. After lunch we will follow the granite belt of the Highlands to wineries in the Ballandeen area. An olive farm is a handy distraction during an afternoon of wine tasting. Late afternoon back to our accommodation in Tenterfield & an evening meal at a historic pub. After breakfast on Sunday we take a steep scenic trip up Mt MacKenzie with fleeting glimpses of wildlife amongst the rugged landscape. The scenic & imposing ‘draining rock’ & numerous ‘balancing rocks’ will afford stunning photo opportunities as we trek to our first winery of the day.
