At night they come ashore and nest in the rock walls off St Kilda beach. At sunset we cut the engines of the boat and drift with the wind along the back waters of the St Kilda harbour watching and spot lighting the penguins as the they come ashore and nest and feed their young. The young birds come out of the boroughs calling for their parents for their daily feed. This is a truly magic moment and something so special to witness.
