Ghastly And Gruesome Tour

Hear about Gothic tales of Colonial Parramatta as you travel by mini bus to the sites of hauntings, suicides and murder. Be enthralled by chilling tales of strange and surprising happenings in early Parramatta.

How and where were suicides buried? Why was a funeral held for a leg? Who was hanged twice? All will be revealed on this night tour.

Female Orphan School Ghost Tour

Explore this dark cavernous, heritage building erected in 1818 to house female orphans and later as Rydalmere Mental Hospital.

Hear tales of the orphans and their lifestyle.

Be chilled by ghostly feelings as you absorb the atmosphere while exploring by torchlight.

Tour available as either a day tour or a 2-hour tour.

Death By Disaster Tour

Explore Mays Hill Cemetery and visit the graves of many pioneers whose lives came to a sudden and unexpected end. Gothic stories which illustrate the harshness of early Colonial life.

Tours can also be run at St Patricks Cemetery and All Saints Cemeteries on request.

Whispering Bones Tour

Experience walking with the spirits of our Colonial Pioneers in Australia’s oldest remaining cemetery. Visit the graves of murderers and missionaries, convict and criminals. A story oriented tour, be enthralled with surprising true tales of strange happenings in early Parramatta.

Be prepared for thrills and chills, some gory stories and perhaps
surprisingly, some laughter.

On the first Friday of each month, the Whispering Bones Tour is run by night and includes a sausage sizzle in Metcalfe and Morris Funeral Home.
