Sunset on the Bay Bed and Breakfast, Redcliffe City

Sunset on the Bay offers a warm welcome and charming bed and breakfast accommodation with twin, queen or king size beds. Each room is well-appointed, with ensuite, tea and coffee making facilities with specialty teas and plunger coffee, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, cable television, compact disc player, direct dial phone with free local calls, table and chairs for in-room dining or relaxation and a private entrance. For the business traveller internet access and a fax facility are available.

Guests can choose the tropical breakfast basket if they’d like a relaxing breakfast in their room, on the veranda or by the pond. A traditional cooked breakfast prepared by the hosts is also available and can be served in the garden or in the country style kitchen. Additional meal options include a light evening meal and barbecue basket.

The guest barbecue area is a secluded area by the garden waterfall and pond. It features seating with market umbrellas, a barbecue in an attractive Balinese style hut, and banana chairs and a hammock for relaxation.

Within an easy walk are the bayside walks, cycle track, barbecues and picnic areas, Scarborough Marina and the Combie Trader to Moreton Island, Morgan’s seafood market, restaurant and function centre, and the Moreton Bay Boat Club with its Harbourside restaurant. Choose from Italian, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Thai or traditional Australian cuisine at local restaurants and hotels, or enjoy fish and chips on the beach. On the beautiful Redcliffe Peninsula you can indulge sporting interests from golf, bowls, fishing and boating…to skydiving and whale or dolphin watching. Or just sit and watch the sun set on the bay.

The Pond Room, with its window overlooking the garden waterfall and pond, allows guests to awaken to the sounds of trickling water and birdcalls. This room has a king or twin bed option, ensuite bathroom, reverse cycle air-conditioning, ceiling fan, refrigerator with mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial phone, cable television and video cassette recorder, radio/clock/compact disc player, crockery and cutlery including tea pot and coffee plunger. A library of books, compact discs and videos is available in reception.

Sunset Room

The Sunset Room has French doors from the veranda where guests can relax and enjoy the sunset. This room has a queen size bed, ensuite bathroom, ducted air-conditioning, ceiling fan, refrigerator with mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial phone, cable television and video cassette recorder, radio/clock/compact disc player, crockery and cutlery including tea pot and coffee plunger. A library of books, compact discs and videos is available in reception.
