Nuggetty Cottage, Maldon

Relax in the peace and tranquillity of a fully self contained stone cottage on the outskirts of historic Maldon. Built of local stone with cathedral ceilings – old world charm with all modern comforts. Nuggetty Cottage can accommodate up to 4 people in two bedrooms – the first with a queen bed, the second a double and a single – electric blankets, cosy doonas and sun dried linen all supplied. The Cottage is fully carpeted with the spacious lounge heated by a Ned Kelly wood heater. It is completely self contained – full size gas stove, microwave and all kitchen equipment. The tariff includes a full self catering breakfast – cereal, free range eggs, jams and honey, juice, ground coffee and bread from the Maldon Bakery. Set on 24 acres of spectacular granite country, the Cottage adjoins the Maldon Commons and has sweeping views over the Loddon Valley and the Northern Plains. Sit on the shady verandah and watch the sunset or explore the surrounding bushland. The Cottage is just three minutes from Maldon and thirty minutes from Bendigo. Short day trips to Daylesford, Melville Caves and the Avoca Wineries are close at hand.
