Myalup Beach Caravan Park and Indian Ocean Retreat, Myalup

Enjoy the tranquil, inspiring suroundings of our unique beachfront hideaway.

Myalup Beach Caravan Park and Indian Ocean Retreat is privileged to be the only beachfront tourist park between Mandurah and Bunbury. It is only one and a half hours (145 kilometres) south of Perth and three kilometres off coastal Highway 1.

Beach access from the park allows you to four wheel drive many kilometres north from Myalup and to choose your own spot for fishing and family swimming. The unique park and retreat is set on many levels, environmentally tucked in between the foreshore sand dunes. The powered park sites cater for tents, caravans, camper vans or camper trailers. On site accommodation is available in park homes or caravans, some with en-suites. A recreation room for gatherings (approximately 50 persons) has facilities to make coffee or tea, a pool table, darts and games. Wood fired barbecues are a popular attraction unless fire restrictions apply.

The retreat is set on the beachfront dunes with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and unbelievable sunsets. There are deluxe three bedroom beachfront chalets with spa, accommodating up to 12 people. One deluxe chalet has disabled facilities and sleeps eight. There are six two-bedroom chalets, which sleep up to eight with full facilities, front veranda and rear patio.

This retreat offers a great beach holiday for families and honeymooners. We also offer one hour of free tennis for retreat customers. Opposite the park a general store also offers takeaways, ice, bait and gas.

Nature experiences include frequent sightings of dolphins and whales from the beach, and an adjacent national park is ideal for bird watching and wildlife observation. Local attractions include numerous wineries within the Myalup/Harvey district. Visit the dams, Honeymoon Pool and Australind, which has the smallest church in Australia. Australind also has a shopping centre to cater for everyone’s needs.

Glasshouse Mountains

The Glasshouse Mountains in the hinterland of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast are actually the cores of 20 million year old volcanoes. The sides of the volcanoes have eroded away leaving only the hardened rock spiremountain cores we see today. Learn more about this awe-inspiring landscape.
