Mt Glorious Getaway Cottages and Conference Centre, Pine Rivers
Situated in Brisbane‘s closest rainforest, only 45 minutes from the city and at an altitude of 680 metres are four architect designed fully self-contained timber cottages. Three of the cottages sleep four, and one sleeps up to six in the three bedrooms. The cottages have been built with every comfort in mind and all have views through the rainforest to Moreton Island. This is the perfect place to really relax and enjoy the absolute peace and seclusion offered. All the cottages have full cooking facilities and a fireplace to keep you warm on the chilly nights which are a feature of this mountain paradise. Whether you need time to think, to talk, to be alone or to be with someone special…you’ll love the tranquillity and magical feel of this special place. Guests may choose to self-cater of choose from a selection of meal options prepared by a gourmet Deli.
This is a birder’s paradise and you are sure to see all the birds common to this area as well as some of the rarer species. For those who are more active, there are extensive walking tracks in the adjoining Maiala National Pak. There is also a small conference room suitable for groups of up to 25 as well as a wonderful ‘rainforest amphitheatre’ which is perfect for marquee weddings or other functions.
