Kingfisher Caravan Park, Tin Can Bay

Resident park owners, Ernie and Sue Daniels ensure a quiet and relaxing holiday is enjoyed by all who stay at the Kingfisher. They receive many compliments on their very clean amenities.

There are over 70 sites in their park ranging from tent sites to drive through van sites, they accommodate large buses and mobile homes or stay in one of the cabins. ‘Dump’ site is just down the road. With their ‘5 star’ Handimarket opening at 6.30 a.m. you can pickup your morning paper, milk and freshly baked bread. They have a well equipped bait and tackle section and Ernie, a keen angler is only too happy to talk fishing and show you a few ‘hot’ spots. They can arrange tours to Fraser Island, four wheel drive tours, canoeing, boat hire or a game of tennis or golf.

Tin Can Bay is one of the truly unspoilt holiday destinations and their aim is to ‘put a smile on your face when you arrive and a tear in your eye when you leave’.

Glasshouse Mountains

The Glasshouse Mountains in the hinterland of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast are actually the cores of 20 million year old volcanoes. The sides of the volcanoes have eroded away leaving only the hardened rock spiremountain cores we see today. Learn more about this awe-inspiring landscape.
