James Cottage Bed and Breakfast has two guest queen size bedrooms tastefully furnished, fully equipped with individually designed ensuites for each room. Enjoy the separate guest dining and television room with individual fireplace for those cooler evenings.

James Cottage has been designed as a retreat for adults and does not cater for children. James Cottage was built in the early 1900’s and is of historical and architectural significance. The house boasts 12 foot pressed metal ceilings, the original hoop pine floors and a grand leadlight door that adds the touch of old world charm.

Included in the rate is a sumptuous continental breakfast consisting of fresh fruits and other delights. Take your time to enjoy your breakfast in the privacy of your own dining room. A full hot breakfast can be provided at a surcharge.

Centrally located, James Cottage is approximately one and a half hours drive from Brisbane or two hours drive from the Gold Coast. An easy stroll will take you to world renowned parks and gardens, which Toowoomba is famous for and to many restaurants and caf s in the central business district.

Your hosts, Arthur and Irene are former moteliers and have a broad experience in the hospitality industry. They will provide you an unmatched experience utilising their years of experience in the hospitality industry and their reputation on innovative cuisine which is of world wide standard.
