Evedon Park Bush Resort, Burekup

Evedon Park is tucked away on its own 300 hectares of natural bush and within a two hour drive of Perth; a secluded lake-side bush retreat ideal for those seeking peace, quiet and tranquility in a natural environment.

Sixteen self-contained cabins, sleeping four per cabin, catering for a total of 64 guests. Accommodation is provided in cosy timber cabins and two-storey apartments, all of which overlook a large lake and beyond, the bushland and hills of the Collie River Jarrah Forest. Each of the chalets and cabins has its own log fire and is fully equipped, with a kitchen, lounge and dining area. Whilst self-catering is a popular choice, continental breakfast is also available.

For many visitors, relaxing on their own private balcony and taking in the views and fresh country air is activity enough. For those wishing to shake off the cobwebs, there’s canoeing on the large lake, or walks through the property’s many hectares of unspoiled bushland.

Walking enthusiasts will want to explore part of the famous Bibbulmun Track, which runs along Evedon Park’s eastern boundary. Originally used by Australian aborigines, these days the track is gaining world-wide recognition as a recreational walking path with sections suitable for all levels of fitness. Wellington National Park, Wellington Dam and the Collie River are a short drive through the forest which is well equipped with scenic spots, barbecues and toilet facilities.

We are also only a short drive from the picturesque Ferguson Valley with a wide range of award winning wineries.

We are located 20 minutes from the port city of Bunbury and 30 minutes from Busselton.

Glasshouse Mountains

The Glasshouse Mountains in the hinterland of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast are actually the cores of 20 million year old volcanoes. The sides of the volcanoes have eroded away leaving only the hardened rock spiremountain cores we see today. Learn more about this awe-inspiring landscape.
