Elmstead B & B, Cudgewa

Elmstead Cottage, a lovely one-room cottage. is set amongst magnificent Elm trees on a working farm with panoramic views. Cudgewa (12 km from Corryong in the North East of Victoria) is nestled in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains close to superb bushland and great fishing streams. Platypus roam in the Cudgewa Creek which runs through the property. Also avaliable is Arthurs Cottage, a charming two bedroom cottage,(circa 1887), set on the banks of the Cudgewa Creek. Tourist attractions include Burrowa-Pine Mountain National Park, Corryong with its Pioneer Museum and Jack Riley’s grave ( the Man from Snowy River). The ski resorts of Thredbo (Mt Kosciusko) and Mt Selwyn are just over an hour away.The area is very popular for its Fly Fishing.Children and pets are welcome ( we have both).
