Cape Jervis Station, Cape Jervis

Rated four stars, historic Cape Jervis Station offers four ensuite bed and breakfast rooms in the Homestead and the Manor. Set in its own rural oasis overlooking picturesque Kangaroo Island. The old blends with the more recent in this village of farm buildings, built as the central hub of the working Station, dating from the 1830’s.

Set amid a collection of native and European trees, a variety of comfortable, private and unique accommodation exists, in harmony with the flocks of native birds, which choose to live there. Recreational activities on the station may include tennis, a golf driving range, billiards, boules, bird watching and seasonal farming activities.

Nearby recreation includes bushwalking in National Parks, swimming in the unspoilt Southern beaches, fishing, horse riding and golf. The Homestead – Constructed in the early 1950’s of handmade bricks, it is set amongst tall gums, ash trees and shady lawn.

Access to telephone and billiard room, satellite television and guest refrigerator available in the Garden Room. Wood fire and ceiling fans. Two ensuite rooms available in the Guest Wing.

The Manor – The original homestead, constructed of local stone has a guest wing of two suites with ensuite and private entrances front and rear from both gardens. The Huon suite and Oregon suite derive their names from their original timber floors. Both rooms have private facilities
