The Birdhouse is set on 50 private acres of high conservation value bushland with a mixture of rainforest and eucalyptus forest. There are three crystal clear mountain streams and a myriad of indigenous flowers, plants and especially birdlife. Lyre birds display and call around the house throughout winter. There are great walking tracks that are easily accessible. Or walk less than 200 metres from the house to see the dramatic escarpment view north and south along the coastline.
