Ardwick Homestead conveniently located on the Wimmera Highway between Edenhope and Apsley, is a fully self-contained century old home with modern facilities, and located on a working farm. In complete privacy and accommodating up to nine persons, Ardwick Homestead is a popular holiday house for families or a group, couples or singles.
Set amongst the red gums and wetlands, century old pear trees shade the homestead verandahs making them a delightful spot to enjoy a BBQ or weather permitting sitting beside a camp fire under the bright West Wimmera stars is the place to indulge in a red (or white) wine. Situated close to the South Australian border, you can enjoy the best of the West Wimmera region of Victoria and the South East of South Australia.
Bring your bikes and cycle around the back roads, take a stroll around the paddocks, climb the rocks at Baileys Rocks National Park or take a 30-minute drive to the world heritage listed Naracoorte Caves and the Coonawarra Wineries.
There’s a swimming pool at Edenhope and both Edenhope and Apsley Golf Clubs welcome visitors and a tennis match can be played at any of the many courts nearby. Amongst the abundant bird life, the endangered red tailed black cockatoo can often be spotted in our area. The vibrant coloured parrots are a special feature of this area so it’s fun to count how many different ones you can spot.
