Abington Farm, Heyfield

Liz and Tony Coghlan invite you to share Abington Farm, an historic homestead that has been in the family for four generations. The 200-acre river frontage property provides a secluded retreat in the heart of Gippsland within easy reach of all the attractions and just over two hours drive east of Melbourne. Abington Farm comprises four distinctly different styles of self-contained accommodation. The Pump House is a luxury contemporary apartment overlooking the river bank and ideal for quiet secluded relaxation. The Barn with its original 100 year old features has had an innovative conversion creating a cosy fire-side living area, master bedroom and large spa. The Dairy has been transformed to accommodate a family or small group in comfortable country surrounds. The Homestead guest wing, furnished with antiques and set in an informal cottage garden, takes you back in time. All units are self-contained, have well equipped kitchens and are set at a discrete distance apart to provide privacy for guests. A generous breakfast is included. Abington Farm is 1 kilometre from the High Country Mountain Rivers Scenic Route 91, a loop drive off the Princes Highway, between Traralgon and Stratford on the C105 Traralgon Heyfield Road. Abington Farm is on a private road, Coghlans Lane, just 4 kilometres south west of Heyfield. Abington Farm is within easy reach of wineries, galleries, the high country, water activities, the Gippsland Lakes and the 90 Mile Beach.
