Things To Do in Dunbogan

Kattang Nature Reserve covers the headland. An easy walk leads to Perpendicular Point, where cliffs drop sheer to the sea, with wildflowers in spring and whales in winter. Pilot Beach, inside the river mouth, is calm, and Washhouse Beach faces the surf.

The old boatshed on the river hires boats and kayaks and is known for the fish that gather at its jetty. South of the village an unsealed road runs into Crowdy Bay National Park and Diamond Head.

Getting to Dunbogan

From Laurieton cross the bridge over the Camden Haven River and follow Diamond Head Road.
