We can assist you with all the information you need such as what equipment, the amount and type of food plus the type of camping gear you will require prior to leaving on your tour. We can also make arrangements for hiring of equipment and vehicles. Travelling alone in some of these areas can be very daunting so we carry all the necessary emergency equipment you will need.

Weighing up the costs, this tour can be extremely affordable. Gather some friends and share the costs of fuel, food, or hiring of the vehicle. It is far cheaper than flying, and you get to see some amazing places you would never see if you had flown or travelled by coach on the bitumen highways.

Touring Options

One Day Sand Dunes And Tracks

Come and spend a day just north of Perth on a self-drive four wheel drive (4WD) fun day out in the sand, all meals provided.

In your own four wheel drive vehicle or hired vehicle we start our tours in the northern suburbs of Perth and then travel about 50 kilometres north to Two Rocks where we leave the bitumen, let down our tyres and head out onto the sand.

The tour involves three different elements. Firstly we travel along some sandy tracks to get everyone used to their vehicles and terrain, then after morning tea we move onto some more challenging tracks involving deep sand and hills, this is great fun for all levels of driver from beginner to advanced. After a barbecue lunch we then take on the third section of the tour which involves a mixture of medium level hills and sandy tracks. Depending on time we may stop for afternoon tea.

All in this is a great day out for drivers from no experience to those who have tried their vehicles in the sand before.

The Back Of Beyond

Come and enjoy a fun camping weekend away with enough time to explore some unique and interesting places.

We visit Nungarin which hosts an amazing Heritage Machinery and Army Museum. There is something in here to keep all entertained from army equipment, a matchbox car collection, right down to a dolls collection. From there we drive on to Elachbutting Rock, lesser known but similar in formation to Wave Rock. The drive around the base of this rock formation is six kilometres. The area around Elachbutting is teaming with bird life and we have plenty of time here for photos and exploring. On day two we travel on to Beringbooding Rock the site of the largest water catchment in the southern hemisphere built in 1937. All good things must come to an end and we say our farewells in Toodyay.

If you need to hire a vehicle or/and camping equipment please contact us for assistance.

The Midwest Meander

Come and spend a wonderful weeekend with us in the countryside north of Perth, we begin our weekend travelling to New Norcia founded in 1846 and home to 16 Benedictine monks. Here you are able to buy a range of New Norcia’s produce including bread, nutcake, biscotti, wine, olive oil and honey.

Moving on to Rothsay we visit an abandoned open cut gold mine.

After enjoying a fun barbecue and bush camping overnight our second day takes us along the famous Rabbit Proof Fence, through some old country towns, and ending in Toodyay. Toodyay was first established in the late 1830’s and remains a charming town with many historical sights to see.

This tour is for two as well as four wheel drive (4WD) vehicles, if your are looking to hire a vehicle or require camping equipment please contact us.

Perth to Darwin

The tours begin in either Perth or Darwin depending on whether you are travelling up north for the winter or down south to Perth for the summer. The tour takes 21 days. For more details on the itinerary please visit our website.

The Gibb River Road

You may choose from two starting points, Alice Springs (18 days) or Broome (12 days). The Alice Springs tour will travel via the Tanami Track to Broome. It is here we meet the Broome tour, and spend a few days getting to know each other. After a relaxing few days we head off to Derby where we begin the Gibb River Road. On this challenging drive we will stay at Mount Elizabeth Station (a working cattle station), El Questro, and see some amazing natural wonders. We then travel to Kununurra and head back to Broome where we say goodbye.

The Holland Track

On this four day driving adventure we visit the famous Wave Rock natural wonder. We then begin our journey along the Holland Track. In 1893, John Holland along with three others set off from Broomehill with five ponies, a light dray, 450 litres of water, and enough provisions for five to six months. The opening of this track allowed direct access to the goldfields from Albany where the gold diggers disembarked to Coolgardie. It took the men over three months.

Along the Holland Track we see The Rabbit Proof Fence, 1822 kilometres long, designed to stop a plague of rabbits. Along the Holland Track there are many historical points of interest. At Mt Holland the country changes and it was here that Holland described it as gold bearing country, his search was unsuccessful in this area. However, he was correct as the Bounty Gold mine is nearby. We visit Gnarlbine where the soak is situated which was the principal water supply for the Coolgardie Gold Rush. We end up at Coolgardie, an old gold mining town which boasts some lovely historical buildings. We then travel on through to Southern Cross and say goodbye at Northam.

Darwin to Perth

The tours begin in either Perth or Darwin depending on whether you are travelling up north for the winter or down south to Perth for the summer. The tour takes 21 days, breaking inland for the journey from Darwin to Exmouth you will stop in at Broome to experience the wonderful culture, beaches and amazing countryside. From Exmouth we then stick to the coast of Western Australia between Exmouth and Perth having a day at Coral Bay to enjoy its wonderful beaches and even explore Ningaloo Reef. Before reaching Perth we will also stop at Monkey Mia to see the famous dolphins.

The tour has a number of rest days included so that you will have time to explore some of the magnificent places Western Australia has to offer, to have a look at where the tour goes and where the rest days are then please take a look at our tour itinerary. We will be camping at areas with differing amenities, some of our campsites will be powered, some un-powered and some of them will be bush camps, all providing fun experiences.
