Banubanu Wilderness Retreat
Fly out to the Banubanu Wilderness Retreat on Bremer Island and share in a unique adventure experienced by only a few. Touring in a small group, meet the local Aboriginal people, get amongst the world’s best fishing and relax around the safari camp site in this pristine area of the island.
The safari camp provides simple comforts such as flush toilet, bush shower, large insect proof domes, camp stretchers and mattresses, bush catering and refrigeration. The retreat is located on the northern tip of Bremer Island approximately one kilometre from the Aboriginal homeland and its airstrip. The camp itself is in the middle of the narrow point of the island and has both the eastern and western coastlines within view and offers a grand outlook out over the neighbouring islands.
