Stoney Creek Trail Rides

Catering for experienced riders as well as novice, Stoney Creek Trail Rides can take you on an adventure trail ride through semi rainforest, along a historic rugged mountain trail over looking beautiful waterfalls and safe swimming holes, where fauna and flora is abundant, even stop for a relaxing swim at Pine Tree Falls. Once your swim is completed, head back to the homestead to enjoy some delicious home made scones and Billy tea, or coffee around the camp fire. You can enjoy some trotting and cantering in the open country or, if you want to just plod along then that’s what you can do. You can go mustering cattle or even a ride to the local Eton Pub.

Touring Options

Three Hour Horse Ride

Three hours spent riding through hills then back to the main house for scones and a cup of tea. Trot or canter at the riders ability.

Two Hour Horse Ride

Enjoy two hours riding through the hills and on to open country. Trot or canter depending on the riders ability, Riders are supervised.

Children’s One Hour Walk

Kids from five and over are led ride for four kilometres, walk or trot depending on child’s ability. A parent must supervise.

Cattle Droving

Experience first hand cattle droving and riding through neighbouring hills supervising cattle crazing. Afternoon or morning tea is provided on return.

Pub Ride

A six kilometre ride from Stoney Creek, through cane fields to the Eton Pub, enjoy beer and lunch with the locals (lunch at own cost). Ride through cane fields. Tour runs with groups of six or more.
