ORCHARD COTTAGE was built by convicts for the Australian Agricultural Company (A.A.Co) circa 1830’s, and is constructed from locally made clay bricks. It has beautiful gardens, English box hedging and dry stone walls. Set within walking distance to the main shopping area and historical sites of Stroud village, it is one of the noted attractions on the town ‘Historical Walk’ map.
It has a combustion wood fire, perfect for snuggling up in front of in winter. All your linen and manchester is provided and of the best quality for your comfort. You will have the cottage to yourself and full kitchen and bathroom facilities are available. A continental breakfast is provided and upon arrival you will receive a complimentary bottle of our locally produced wine, a locally made jar of jam and handmade & handpainted soap.
Stroud is a beautiful country village, with lovely historic buildings and sites, great shops, cafes and restaurants. Relax, unwind and experience it for yourself. Just over 2 hrs from Sydney.
