Kensington C & C, Kensington

Kensington C & C is a renovated and extended 1883 workers cottage. Located in an inner suburb it is ideally positioned for visitors to Melbourne for both work and pleasure The Kensington station is just a 2 minute walk away and trains operate to and from the city (2 stops) every 10 minutes during peak hours and every 20 minutes at other times from early morning until around midnight. We offer self-managed accommodation, allowing us to share our Melbourne home with you whilst you enjoy your Melbourne visit. In nearby Kensington Village cafes and restaurants offer a wide variety of gourmet meals from breakfast though to dinner. Alternatively, you can choose the in-house breakfast supplies or use the kitchen facilities or barbecue. Ingredients can easily be purchased locally or you may enjoy a visit to the historic Queen Victoria Market, just 10 minutes away. Local attractions include the Flemington Race course, Royal Melbourne Showgrounds, Melbourne Zoo, walking/riding paths along the Maribyrnong River, Royal Park Golf Course, Kensington Aquatic centre and Melbourne Bike route. For those needing accommodation for medical appointments, a bus service passes the Royal Melbourne Hospital and a tram the Children’s Hospital. Kensington C & C is easy to reach from Melbourne airport, train, tram & taxi. Street parking is available for car travellers. Why a ‘C & C’ ? We like the concept of ‘self-managed’ accommodation that is ‘close to the action’ yet private, personal and a bit quirky. So prepare yourself for a stay that will have you relaxed and excited from the moment you arrive.
