The Gatehouse nurtures its links to the past, while offering contemporary accomodation to guests seeking a restful retreat. The Gatehouse Leura is a traditional 1940’s weatherboard and iron roofed cottage, fully insulated and set on 1229 square metres of woodland gardens. The cottage is ideal for a couple, and has a beautiful queen sized bed with wool underlay, electric blanket and doonas. A choice of pillows ensures our guests have a comfortable nights rest.
The bathroom has a spa bath, heated towel rails and heating. A hair dryer and complimentary amenities are provided. The living room has an open log fire, reverse cycle air conditioning, wide screen TV/DVD, CD, stereo, and library. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything required to make an intimate dinner for two. Dining alfresco is easy with a gas barbeque on the verandah.
