The Flinders Outback Resort (formerly Leigh Creek Tavern) is an ideal place to stay before heading up the outback tracks or as a base for exploring the nearby Gammon and Flinders Ranges. At the Flinders Outback Resort we have a range of comfortable accommodation all within walking distance of all town facilities. Our motel rooms are well appointed with air conditioning, telephones, televisions, refrigerators and views to the nearby hills. Our tavern bar and restaurant are popular with the locals and offer a range of food, wine, beer and espresso coffee beyond most expectations in the outback. Leigh Creek has a complete range of services for the traveller – banking, groceries, fresh fruit and vegetable, gas, fuel, hospital, newsagent, police station, library, internet facilities, an Olympic size swimming pool, many sporting facilities including an outback golf course and an excellent Visitor Information Centre.
