You stay amidst a high quality natural environment, only seven kilometres from the magnificent Mandalay Beach. The temperate climate allows tall karri forests to flourish which provide a habitat for vivid wildflowers and native wildlife such as kangaroos, emus, kookaburras, fairy wrens and sea eagles. The extensive private grounds with lakes cover over three acres and offer a delightful playground for children.
Accommodation is comfortable and spacious; it is a renovated homestead with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a separate dining/kitchen area, with all facilities for self catering. A large family room offers extra dormitory space or a meeting area for large groups. It has a wood heater, satellite television/VCR and games equipment. The house is well insulated and rooms have electric fan heaters for the winter evenings. Verandas offer a vantage point to enjoy nature.
Located in the south west corner of Western Australia, it is at the heart of the Walpole Wilderness area, near the Tree Top Walk and within 15 minutes drive from the facilities of Walpole town. From Albany airport it is about 90 minutes by car or public bus (120 kilometres). From Perth, you pass Manjimup and then after one hour’s drive through magnificent forests, Crystal Springs Holiday House appears at the junction with the road to Mandalay Beach. It is the first house on the road and is truly set apart from the urban stresses of the 21st century.The Southern Ocean and sheltered Walpole-Nornalup Inlet offer surfing, fishing and swimming. Nearby are many other possibilities for outdoor adventure.
