Marulan, NSW
‘mooraulin’ is the local aboriginal name for marulan. First discovered by
europeans in 1798. By 1820 it had blossomed into a village which provided
essential services for pioneers. Visitors can walk the trail of rugged
ridges that cross the wollondilly river.
Marulan village has a number of interesting buildings dating from the nineteenth century, there is a hotel in the village which offers a warm country welcome, with bistro and pub stay accommodation.
