The towns of Muckadilla and Injune service the Shire, with Injune positioned only a few hours drive from the spectacular Carnarvon Gorge and Expedition National Park.

Muckadilla is some 40 kilometres west of Roma, along the Warrego Highway and was once home to the famous Muckadilla Baths.

Injune is nestled in the Great Dividing Range and is blessed with a climate that takes you to the cold crisp winter to hot summers and perfect autumn and spring weather. Make sure to visit the Visitor Information Centre, which is chock a block full of information. Also enjoy a free ‘cuppa and bikkie” while relaxing on the verandas.
