An unexplained miracle of nature – Yarrie Lake, a 3km saucer shaped expanse of water on the very edge of the Pilliga Scrub.Its sheltered position makes it an excellent natural Bird breeding ground, a mecca for some 70 species of Birds.

Yarrie Lake is a paradise for camping, bird watching, water sports and fun for kids, swimming a catching craybobs.Some marvelous sunsets make Yarrie Lake a popular spot for photographers as well.
