Just to the west of Angourie is the small village of Wooloweyah with the enviable location on the banks of Lake Wooloweyah and nestled into the Yuraygir National Park.
This area is popular with windsurfers, canoeists and fishermen who like to take full advantage of the wide waters of Lake Wooloweyah. There is a charming parkland area near to the lake with tennis court, children’s playground and community hall.
