Whitton, NSW
The townnship of Whitton is 23km west of Leeton. Originally named “Hulong”, the town was a focal point for teamsters transporting goods and people into the south western areas of New South Wales.
Progress has not passed Whitton completely by and the huge rice storage and seed complex near the town centre is the largest in the irrigation areas.
